Sydney's $1.1 billion International Convention Centre (ICC) in Darling Harbour will be the venue for ARBS in 2018.
The ICC is scheduled to open in December, 2016, and features Australia's largest ballroom as well as a 5,000sqm open air, rooftop space to host cocktail parties for up to 1,900 people.
Exhibitions and cocktail receptions for up to 2,000 people can also be held in the Gallery which is a 2,400 sqm room.
ICC Sydney is capable of holding three concurrent, self-sufficient major conventions, each with their own pre-function, meeting and catering facilities within the convention centre.
The tiered Darling Harbour Theatre seats 2,500 while the Pyrmont Theatre seats 1,000 and the Cockle Bay room seats 800.
The Sydney Theatre which boasts an 8,000-seat capacity will be used to host large international conventions as well as touring entertainment acts.
