Haier Air Conditioning
Stand 3184

Haier, the number one brand of major appliances in the world*, was founded in China in 1984, and launched in the Australian market in 2015. Awarded the number one brand in the world for nine consecutive years by Euromonitor International, Haier operates in over 30 countries with design and manufacturing in Asia, Europe, The Americas and Australasia employing over 100,000 people.

The global brand has built an international reputation for listening to customers' needs and using these insights to design smart, everyday home appliances – using extensive customer research to develop products that are designed with Australian lifestyles in mind.

With five Research and Development Centres, Haier's goal is to build an open innovation ecosystem in which global resources and users participate and continuously produce appliances that are market and technology led.

This has enabled the brand to launch a connected air conditioning range, with Haier also recognised as the number one brand of connected air conditioners in the world**.

Haier air conditioning sales manager, Tony Bartlett, says that the brand has worked to design and manufacture air conditioners suited to modern Australian homes and the climate – with air conditioners undergoing rigorous heat testing ranging from -25 to 60°C to mimic Australia's harsh environmental conditions.

"Given the scale of the Haier brand and the level of research and advanced innovation the brand is able to commit to, we have been able to expand and improve on product lines across both our consumer and commercial range. This year alone we are launching over 260 new products in the brand's commercial range that will work to complete our trade offering in the Australian market – effectively allowing us to increase our potential market and complete the ranging of our commercial product."

An example of product innovation for the Australian market is the new R32 air conditioner range from Haier launching in August. Knowing energy efficiency is important to Australians, Haier developed the eco-friendly R32 range that works to drastically cut greenhouse gases by up to 70 per cent compared to products with R410A refrigerant.

Haier will be exhibiting its new products, including the R32 range, at ARBS 2018.

"We are continuing our launch in to Australia with products that are developed and tested for this market and backed by our 24 hours a day, seven days a week, outstanding customer service and support offering," Bartlett said. "I encourage any ARBS attendees to come and visit our stand to explore new products and find out why close to one in three people choose Haier air conditioners for their homes."
