A major developer of elegant boutique homes in Melbourne, Koshani Constructions, has formed a partnership with Haier air conditioning.

As it seeks to consolidate its position as the world’s number one (volume) major appliance brand Haier is committed to introducing a complete range of air conditioning products into the Australian and New Zealand markets to further enhance its already strong position as a global market leader.

Haier has formed a strong partnership with Melbourne’s Polaris Air Conditioning, with a focus on providing quality products and high end design.

Impressed by the style and performance of Haier's products, Koshani Constructions has made the air conditioning supplier its preferred brand for its developments in Melbourne.

Fisher & Paykel's general manager of commercial and air conditioning sales, Tim Kirkup, said Haier products were selected because its indoor units are slimmer and not as deep as products from competitors.

Haier's low static indoor units measure 185mm high and 420mm deep, so it was able to fit above the wardrobe. Other products on the market are 620mm deep, too large to fit above a wardrobe with only 600mm of space.

“Given the size, it also resulted in less building work and a more seamless integration with the existing house design,” he said. “The benefit for Haier is the opportunity to prove we have reliable, high quality product that is well-designed.”

The primary products used in the project were the SuperMatch Multi Outdoor Systems and the Low Static Slimline duct indoor units.

Kirkup described the features and specifications of the Haier multi system as best in class.

“This is a prestigious project in a prestigious suburb, the perfect environment to showcase a best in class product,” he said.

“When it comes to style and performance, Haier delivers.”
