The Airconditioning and Refrigeration Equipment Manufacturers Association of Australia (AREMA) has elected its Executive Committee for 2017-18.

President Mark Padwick, vice president Glenn Townsend and secretary/treasurer Bob Woodhouse were all re-elected unopposed.

Padwick has been president for five years while Townsend has been vice president for more than 10 years and Woodhouse has been secretary/treasurer for one year.

AREMA plans to celebrate its 50th anniversary this year by staging its annual dinner at Taronga Zoo in Sydney on November 16, 2017.

Entertainment will be provided by celebrated author, actor and comedian Jean Kittson, best known as co-host of The Big Gig and spots on Good News Week.

All committee members were also re-elected unopposed.
