As Australia’s largest air conditioning manufacturer, Seeley International is again demonstrating its industry leadership by announcing plans to bring together leading experts for a national roadshow.

The roadshow, which begins next month, will focus on a zero emissions future and the broader implications for the HVAC industry.

Seeley International group managing director, Jon Seeley, said the series – Sustainable Buildings: Preparing for a Zero Emissions Future & Implications for HVAC – provides an opportunity for industry to discuss customer challenges and requirements with sustainability experts and HVAC engineers, and gain a comprehensive understanding of how HVAC solutions can be used to create valuable commercial propositions.

“There can be no doubt that the HVAC industry is going through a period of rapid change, and it is more critical than ever to understand the significant opportunities that are on the horizon by hearing experts outline their thoughts on looming changes in the built environment and trends that are expected to impact on our industry’s future,” Seeley said.

“An increasing number of customers are looking to the HVAC industry for sustainable options, advice on green building design, optimal energy efficiency and specialised commercial solutions, and our professional development series will help participants to better deliver on those expectations.

“With heating, ventilation, and air conditioning found in virtually every contemporary Australian building, HVACR now accounts for approximately 40% of total building energy consumption, 70% of base building consumption and represents more than 11% of all Australian emissions.

“That is why it is critical for the industry to be able to confidently work with customers to develop energy-efficient solutions which achieve a win for their bottom line and ultimately a win for the environment,” Seeley said.

Registration for each of the free 90 minute events is available at www.seeleyinternational.com/hvaccurve.

Bookings can be secured on a first-in basis and strictly close 10 days prior to each event, unless fully booked beforehand.

All events are set to start at 5.30pm, with presentations commencing from 6pm followed by networking over drinks and canapes.
