A total of 10 fridgies have made it to the 2016 WorldSkills Australia National Refrigeration Competition to be held during ARBS in Melbourne from May 17-19, 2016.

These amazing competitors, who are all under 23 years of age, have dedicated months of their spare time and energy to training for their shot at greatness – all hoping to secure the coveted title of ‘National Champion’ in Refrigeration and be selected to represent Australia next year at the International Competition in Abu Dhabi.

This is the seventh year that ARBS has hosted the competition where competitors must demonstrate that they have the best refrigeration and air conditioning skills and knowledge in the country.

Heatcraft is the official sponsor of the refrigeration category. Competitors in this category need to prove to the judges that they can successfully install and commission a refrigeration system and diagnose system and electrical faults.
