Anniversaries are a good opportunity to reflect on the long road travelled and to assess whether its time to change direction going forward.
In 2017, CCN Live will be five years old. It marks an interesting point in the CCN Live journey considering how much the event has evolved during this time.
Most of the HVACR industry has actually contributed to the development of CCN Live - from industry groups to research bodies and some of the biggest providers in Australia – a lot of people have provided support either as a speaker, sponsor, a debate participant or even as an attendee.
CCN Live has provided industry with a platform which is why its important we start thinking about next year's event.
Incredibly, CCN Live has never really had the same format two years in a row. There are a couple of reasons for this (no its not because we are trying to be edgy although I wish that it were).
It has more to do with trying to find the right formula, we've had to engage in some experimentation to test the waters to find out what works and what doesn't work. I've realised that there is no magic formula.
But I do know that magic happens whenever industry comes together to share ideas.
So what's next? Maybe a lunchtime gathering rather than breakfast to accommodate post-event networking drinks? A more topical agenda with more audience interaction?
