Sitting among the best air conditioning manufacturers in the world, Carrier has been incorporating advanced engineering and clever design to produce energy efficient solutions for residential, commercial, retail and transport applications since 1902.

Its new generation of inverter ducted air conditioners are yet another example of Carrier’s capability to create what the market is after yet again.

Part of the 2017 inverter ducted air conditioning range, the High Static Ducted (SDHV) and the Slimline Ducted (SHDS) series allow consumers to take control of their indoor environment without the need to install individual indoor units on the wall, allowing minimal interference in architectural and room design.

The Slimline Ducted (SHDS) system is a logical choice for apartment, hotel and office applications.  On the other hand, the High Static Ducted units cover areas where flexibility is a priority by presenting extended duct connection, reducing installation costs and making it ideal for residential use.

Both the SHDS and SDHV series utilise a DC Inverter System technology, designed with sustainability in mind to achieve efficient use of energy.

This means that the reverse cycle system will keep the indoor environment at the desired temperature without costing the earth. In addition, the new units come with a 5-year warranty and an extensive list of handy features, such as sleep mode, lock function for temperature stability and set temperature range to cover Australia’s weather predicaments.

Carrier's business unit manager for residential and light commercial products, John Caione, said consumers can also benefit from the cool weekly schedule timer, allowing different settings to be used during the week and throughout the weekend. And, unlike -stray remote controls, Carrier’s wired controller will never go missing and its large buttons make operation a breeze.

“The engineers behind Carrier’s new inverter ducted air conditioners have once again proven their expertise by bringing to our market up-to-date products without the premium cost,” Caione said.
