At the last event ARBS 2014 visitor numbers were steady across the three days totalling 7,774 which is five per cent higher than 2012.

This year numbers are set to be bigger than ever. Once again the ARBS Exhibition, to be held from May 17 to 19, will be the biggest HVACR event in Australia.

Commenting on this year's event, long term exhibitor and Carel managing director, Kevin Marr, said ARBS has continually improved and has always been an important event on the calendar.

“But this year initial numbers for ARBS has by far exceeded our expectations,” he said.

There is only one other major event to take place this year when it comes to leading-edge information and that is CCN Live 2016.

To be held at the Randwick Racecourse in Sydney on Tuesday, August 2, 2016, the keynote address to be presented by Lux Research will identify emerging industry trends over the next decade.

The research and market data to be presented at this event will be a first for Australia. CCN has formed an exclusive partnership with global research firm, Lux Research, to ensure participants have access to the latest data impacting the HVACR market.

The two companies are working hard to deliver on all fronts for the keynote which will be delivered by an international analyst visiting our shores to provide a global view on local issues.

The theme for the breakfast event is Navigating Change, which is well-suited to the presentation that has been prepared by the advisory firm which undertakes 5,000 interviews annually across 45 countries.

Another highlight at CCN Live 2016 is the HVACR Leadership Awards which recognises the pioneers, innovators and entrepreneurs driving the HVACR industry into the future.

Winners are announced at the event for all six categories including Industry Rising Star which is sponsored by ABB,

Sustainability Leader in HVACR sponsored by Heatcraft, Emerging Leader in Energy Savings in HVACR sponsored by the Australian Refrigeration Association and the Innovator of the Year which is sponsored by Temperzone.

The final two categories - Woman of the Year in HVACR as well as HVACR Leader of the Year – are both sponsored by Daikin.

There is still time to nominate as entries close on June 26, 2016. To nominate go to www.climatecontrolnews.com.au/awards
