Panasonic Australia
Stand 2130

ARBS will see the reveal of Panasonic's pioneering new products and technologies for 2018, cementing the company's position as a trusted brand in both the residential and commercial air conditioning markets.

Panasonic celebrates its 100-year anniversary in 2018, and has consistently prided itself on working to improve people's lives and helping society progress through innovation. Since the release of its first room air conditioner 60 years ago, Panasonic has become a global leader in air conditioning and ventilation through its dedication to producing best-in-class solutions for domestic and commercial applications.

Panasonic has topped the Canstar Blue customer satisfaction review for air conditioners three times in the last four years, and was the only brand to achieve a five-star rating for overall satisfaction in 2017. It also rated five stars for reliability, functionality, ease of use, noise levels and value for money.

Control solutions are the headline act for Panasonic's 2018 ARBS stand. Panasonic Air Conditioning will enhance the solutions offering for both residential and commercial markets through its global alliance with Schneider Electric. For residential applications, Panasonic Ducted Air Conditioning and Mini FSV (VRF) will become ready-to-integrate to Clipsal's C-Bus control and also the Push home automation system. In addition, Panasonic will launch two cutting edge ducted products designed for the Australian home.

The new 18kW-22.4kW Inverter Splittable Ducted series offers far greater flexibility for installers. The new models are designed specifically for the Australian home market, where larger systems are needed for stand-alone homes, and allow easier and quicker installation. The units can be split into three parts (heat exchanger, fan and fan casing), and are 18 per cent lighter and 22 per cent smaller in width compared to Panasonic's previous range.

Panasonic will also showcase its new R32 Compact light commercial range. With compact, lightweight and low noise design, the range is ideal for small offices and other commercial applications. It maintains strong power but sees a 40 per cent unit volume decrease, allowing the units to fit in tight outdoor spaces. The new R32 Compact light commercial range spans from 6.0kW to 14.0kW, and has High Static Ducted, Mid-Static Ducted, 4 Way Cassette, Under Ceiling and 9.5kW Wall Mounted indoor options. These new indoor units are also compatible with the existing R410A outdoor range.

For commercial applications, Panasonic's alliance with Schneider Electric has realised the AC Smart Connectivity solution which enables all Panasonic light commercial air conditioning and VRF systems with plug-and-play connection to building energy management systems (BEMS). System integration and installation is streamlined.

Panasonic will also showcase the AC Smart Cloud solution, which allows an administrator to remotely control air conditioning systems and monitor the energy status in multiple locations with a single click.

Jack Tey, product marketing manager for air conditioning at Panasonic Australia, said ARBS 2018 is a great opportunity to showcase some of its most innovative products on the market today and highlight Panasonic's focus on energy efficiency, ease of installation and smart control solutions.

Panasonic will also be running a competition at ARBS 2018, with visitors having the chance to win one of three 65-inch Panasonic TVs. Further details will be available at the Panasonic stand (2130) during the exhibition.
