Schneider Electric has announced the appointment of Colette Munro to the role of Pacific Zone president, overseeing all aspects of the company’s operations in Australia and New Zealand.

A 13-year Schneider Electric veteran, Munro will drive local operations and ensure a new era of success in the region’s key markets. 

She is a member of Schneider’s International Operations Management Committee, and will focus on delivering profitable growth, increasing market share, accelerating digital and field services, and strengthening the company’s position in the new energy landscape.

Munro has held various leadership roles in innovation and digital transformation at Citect and Schneider Electric. Most recently, she was global chief digital officer at the leading infrastructure consulting firm, AECOM.

Schneider Electric’s executive vice president of international operations, Manish Pant, said Munro is a strong leader with a proven record of partnering with companies to help them digitise their operations to improve efficiency and transform their business.

“I am delighted that Colette has returned to Schneider Electric in this role and excited to see the business thrive under her guidance,” Pant said.

Commenting on her appointment, Munro said there is immense opportunity for Schneider Electric in Australia and New Zealand.

A chartered engineer, Munro has extensive international experience in electrical engineering, industrial control and infrastructure design.

She is passionate about supporting businesses, teams, and individuals to enhance the transformative impact of digital technologies, particularly for positive environmental and social outcomes.
