It was a tight race to the finish for the Rising Star Award, which was sponsored by ABB.
The winner, Bueno Systems managing director Leon Wurfel, thanked his team. “It is such an honour to be surrounded by so many passionate and talented people,” he said.
Accepting his award from ABB drives and controls unit manager, Michael Briggs, Wurrfel said industry is enjoying a “data revolution”.
“Bueno is bringing best practice data analytics technology and embedding it into standard operating practice for property,” he said.
Recognition was also given to CA Group Services system design engineer, Jonathan Hare, for his work with refrigeration systems.
