There are few titles as prestigious as HVACR Leader of the Year.

It is the type of title that is earned over decades, not months. It explains why each year the winner of CCN's HVACR Leader of the Year Award is such a driving force for the industry, providing both leadership and inspiration.

This is a person that has a well established HVACR career and has contributed extensively to the development of the industry.

Sponsored by Innotech, this award if now in its fourth year.

Previous winners are Seeley International founder, Frank Seeley and Coles Supermarket's national engineering refrigeration manager, Stuart Saville.

Last year's winner was Teco Australia's Kenneth Ball, who has a career spanning more than half a century.

He began his career in the 1960s and has worked for Kelvinator, Carrier, Haden, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and Fujitsu General, just to name a few.

Ball has also worked with associations such as AREMA and CESA and contributed to the development of licensing and standards.

Another popular category in CCN's awards program is the Leader in Energy Savings and Sustainability Award.

This award always attracts a lot of interest because its an area where HVACR excels.

While energy savings and sustainability are very different, there are many projects in which they work very well together which is why, this year, it is a single category.

As a nominee you may choose to focus on one area more than the other, while still demonstrating success in a range of areas that cover smart energy use or sustainability.

Nominations close next month so time is running out.
