The 19th annual Fujitsu General national conference was held this month on Fraser Island in Queensland.

The company's deputy managing director, Philip Perham, said there was a lot to celebrate this year.

"Not only did Fujitsu General achieve 36 per cent share value in retail, which is the highest in 10 years, but we topped 29 per cent in unit sales, and delivered strong growth in key dealer, commercial and builder channels," he said.

"Reflecting this success, the conference focused on key business objectives for the year ahead to drive momentum and
continue strengthening our enviable market leading position."

Perham said the success Fujitsu General enjoys today is largely attributed to years of hard work, and the loyal support and dedication of the company's employees.

“The industry continues to shift, and the only way to maintain our position is to ensure our people understand and deliver upon the changing needs of our customers,” Perham added.

The national conference concluded with a gala dinner and evening of entertainment, where internal business success was acknowledged and rewarded.

Those recognised for their efforts throughout the year were:

Jayne Feben (NSW) - Culture and Values Champion

Darrin Ede (NSW) - Business Development Manager of the Year - Dealer

Jarryd Collins (QLD) - Business Development Manager of the Year - Commercial

Deon Powter (QLD) - Business Development Manager of the Year - Retail

Alex Turner (NSW) - State Manager of the Year
