Dan Shugar, founder and CEO of Nextracker, will present at the upcoming All-Energy Australia event, taking place at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre on 26-27 October.

For over 30 years, Shugar has been a leading voice in business, technology and climate policy, advancing solar and climate technology solutions in the US and around the globe. 

He has featured in the Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Bloomberg and Fortune, and has spoken at the House Committee on Natural Resources Subcommittee on Energy and Mineral Resources, as well as at a wide variety of global clean tech events.

Nextracker is a world leader in solar tracking systems and has doubled its manufacturing capacity over the past year to 300MW per week. It has offset nearly 75 million emissions in metric tonnes, powered 10 million homes, and installed 50GW of smart solar trackers.

As founder and CEO of Nextracker, Shugar brings together solar expertise and technology innovations in a way few cleantech leaders can, and will sit on the All-Energy Opening Plenary panel at 8:30am on 26 October.

In less than 10 years, Shugar founded a solar start-up in the Balance of Systems (BOS) solar manufacturing category, maintained worldwide market share leadership for six consecutive years, and has shipped over 50GW of smart solar trackers to 40 countries.

He currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Solar Energy Industry Association (SEIA) and Powerhouse Ventures, as well as being on the board of the American Clean Power Association, as well as a member of several other clean tech advisory board.
