As part of plans to expand local service capabilities, ebm-papst ANZ has just completed construction of a new Centre of Excellence.
The centre is located at the company's head office in Melbourne and is part of its philosophy to be a global company that acts locally byinvesting in its people and its customers in Australia and New Zealand.
The facility enables ebm-papst engineers to continue to provide customers with high quality technical solutions and conduct advanced research in the form of testing and product analysis for local customers.
It features an R&D facility, a test rig in accordance with ISO5801, a product analysis area as well as a development area specifically set up for control solutions.
Customers and contacts from industry and government are invited to attend the official launch of the new Centre of Excellence in coming months.
Guest speakers will present insights into expanding local service and quality capabilities, and senior management from Australia and Germany will share their experience and vision on expanding local capabilities. Thomas Borst, ebm-papst group
managing director for sales and marketing, will also be in attendance.
