More than 100 guests were invited to the official launch of Fujitsu General’s AIRSTAGE applied product range last week.

Guests were driven by stretch hummers to Shortstop Jet Charter Hanger 5 in Essendon, where a DC-3 Gooney Bird aircraft kept watch over the night of entertainment and product discovery.

Hosted by Fujitsu General Australia and New Zealand managing director, Philip Perham, the guests included building, mechanical and electrical consultants, as well as the company’s national commercial sales team.

Australian sports commentator Hamish McLachlan was MC for the evening, which included a surprise guest panel Q&A session with: Essendon AFL captain Dyson Heppell; former Australian F1 driver Mark Webber; former NRL player and Queensland Maroons coach, Billy Slater; and Fujitsu General’s longstanding brand ambassador, Mark Taylor.

Perham did the official launch and welcomed existing and potential customers to the event.

He said Shortstop Jet Charter Hanger was an impressive venue and it provided the space required to display the new Chillers, Roof Top Packaged Units, Computer Room Air Conditioners, and the anywAiR iO monitoring and control solution.

“The VIP guests topped the night off with humorous tales of their current and previous careers, which is always popular with a Fujitsu General gathering,” Perham said.
