Mitsubishi Electric Australia celebrated success at its annual Diamond Dealer Awards weekend in Hobart.

It has been 15 years since the event was last hosted in the Apple Isle.

With the cancellation of the 2020 Awards weekend due to the health emergency, guests were relieved to get to Tasmania finally.

All dealers attended an informative business session on Saturday morning.

One of Australia’s most respected economists Saul Eslake provided insights into the economy, consumer confidence and the construction and building sector and outlined where it was heading.

Keynote speaker Todd Russell is a survivor of the 2006 Beaconsfield Mine collapse. His story is challenging, inspirational and emotional and had a profound effect on participants.

Commenting on the event, the company’s general manager of LEG national sales, Zane Barron, said Diamond Dealer Awards Weekend was the first opportunity to reconnect with dealers in person after a difficult year.

“The awards weekend is a celebration of the shared success, and we take this opportunity to thank every dealer for their support throughout what was a challenging year,” Barron said.

A gala ball hosted by Ed Kavalee saw 38 Sales Excellence Awards and 15 Regional Dealer Awards, and three General Manager Awards handed out.

General Manager Award Winners: included Elite Heating & Cooling PTY LTD, Paramount Airconditioning Pty Ltd and Rite Price Heating & Cooling.
