Building Information Modelling (BIM) software developer, Graphisoft, which is part of the Nemetschek Group, has acquired its distribution partners in Australia and New Zealand.

The company has acquired long-term distributor partners, Graphisoft Australia and Central Innovation New Zealand, from Central Innovation, expanding its direct presence in the Pacific region.

The acquisition gives Graphisoft the assets it needs to operate directly in the region, allowing the company to provide services and support straight to customers in two key BIM markets. It comes at an important time, as Graphisoft introduces disruptive solutions and continues its evolution toward a multi-product organisation.

Graphisoft CEO, Daniel Csillag, said the company is strengthening its long term commitment to both markets.

“The Central Innovation team brings over 30 years of market expertise, strong customer relationships, and deep insight into user expectations, further enriching our global experience and strengthening our presence in the Pacific region,” Csillag said.

Central Innovation COO, Shannon Reshno, said the company is proud of the progress it has made in expanding BIM adoption across Australia and New Zealand.

“We’re confident our customers will benefit significantly from Graphisoft’s hands-on approach to support and services, as well as its long-term vision for the AEC industry,” Reshno said.
