LG Electronics ANZ (LG) has announced a renewed course for its air conditioning business in the trans-Tasman market which includes expanding its ANZ team by 30 to 40 per cent in 2025.

With recently appointed general manager Virender Rana, at the helm, LG is committing significant investment to the ANZ HVAC sector, strengthening its presence across both the commercial and residential markets and focusing on the dealer and commercial sectors.

To achieve this in the ANZ market, LG is strategically redefining its position and strengthening its presence, investing significantly in its people by expanding the LG ANZ air conditioning team by 30 to 40 per cent in 2025.

This commitment extends to enhancing its Partner Relationship Management (PRM) systems, ensuring superior service quality and customer satisfaction, investing in pre-sales support and technical expertise, ensuring its solutions meet and exceed industry expectations.

Commenting on the renewed strategy, Rana said LG is committed to pushing the boundaries of air conditioning technology in the ANZ market.

“Our vision for 2025 is to provide an uncompromising customer experience, upholding top standards in quality, design and satisfaction,” he said.

“We are investing in our customers, people and partners to amplify what is already a well-respected brand in market, while highlighting that LG is back, stronger than ever, with premium products, service and a commitment to long-term excellence.”

LG is also embracing smart technology, AI and an expanded product portfolio, to transform the HVAC industry.

The upcoming launch of its flagship MULTI-V i commercial system in the Australian market integrates AI to optimise performance, efficiency and user experience.

Alongside an expansion into dehumidifiers and air purifiers, LG will continue its investment in its Residential Air Conditioning (RAC) split and ducted systems across ANZ, bringing AI-driven features to the dealer market.

In a statement issued today, LG said it is committed to providing an uncompromising customer experience through a national strategy with a regional focus, ensuring tailored solutions for the diverse needs of the ANZ market.

“The company is well positioned to reclaim its spot as a dominant force in the HVAC sector, offering innovative solutions, unmatched service, and a renewed commitment to excellence,” the statement said.

“This renewed focus builds on LG's global commitment to Innovation for a Better Life, creating a better future for the people and the planet through smart life solutions.”

Globally, LG Electronics aims to double HVAC sales by 2030, solidifying its position as a leader in comprehensive air conditioning solutions.
