Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Air-Conditioners Australia, Pty. Ltd. (MHIAA) has made the move to new state of the art premises in Regents Park, south-west of Sydney, this month.

The company said moving its head office is part of the next stage of MHIAA’s expansion and continued success in the heating and cooling solutions market.

In a company address to staff, MHIAA ANZ managing director, Yuji Ito, said the new space offers improved facilities which are more suited to the company’s changing needs.

The most exciting feature of the new premises is the state-of-the-art showroom and training facility fondly known as 'Innovation Park, MHIAA Solution Centre'.

“MHIAA collaborated with the Sydney-based design company, the Design Team to bring this interactive and innovative space to life,” Ito said.

“The showroom exemplifies one of MHIAA’s core values. Innovation is in our DNA and is central to both our organisation and the development of our solutions.

“It allows us to push boundaries and meet the needs of our customers.”

MHIAA worked with Powerhouse Group for the design and build of the new office space and Marshall Air for all air conditioning installations.

“With our new office, we also wanted to showcase our proud Japanese heritage and looked to Japanese and industrial influences. Japan represents innovation and a customer-centric approach and what better way to impress customers than by making use of some of their design principles and philosophies?” Ito said.

The relocation coincides with MHIAA’s 20th anniversary in the Australian market.

From relatively humble beginnings as a dedicated air-conditioning sales division in Australia in 1999, Ito said MHIAA has grown to be an industry leader in the provision of award-winning air-conditioning solutions for residential and commercial environments around the country.

“Continued growth in every aspect of our company is integral to the MHIAA ethos,” he said.

“That desire for growth is driven by our employees, who tirelessly strive for innovative design, integrity in our business practices and the highest possible standard of customer service.

“We believe that the new head office location will enable us to perform at an even higher capacity and provide our customers with the same standard of quality they have come to know and love from MHIAA.”
