Indoor Air Quality in a post-COVID world is a popular theme in this year’s ARBS seminar program.

On the first day of ARBS 2022, the director of the ARBS Education & Research Foundation,  Ashak Nathwani will outline research conducted with researchers from University of Sydney.

The tests simulated airborne aerosol (SARS-CoV-2) dispersion from an infectious person, who exhaled the tracer gas: nitrous oxide.

Importantly the presentation will discuss case studies of how some of the outcomes have resulted in various practical applications.

Distinguished professor & aerosol physicist, Lidia Morawska, will present her recommendations for IAQ and ventilation, as well as options for disinfection and simple solutions that can be put into action today.

Lidia conducts fundamental and applied research in the interdisciplinary field of air quality and its impact on human health and the environment, with a specific focus on science of airborne particulate matter.
