KNX Australia National Group yesterday announced a 50 per cent membership discount for participants who successfully complete its four-day KNX Accreditation training.
The discount applies to Associate Membership of the KNX Australia National Group until December 31, 2021, representing a saving of $700.
The offer is also open to those who have successfully completed the training since January 2019.
KNX National Group Australia is a not-for-profit industry group of manufacturers, integrators, associations and training establishments which promote the KNX standard within the Australian building automation market.
Governed by an elected board, KNX National Group Australia is a collective of active KNX advocates whose experience reflects KNX activities within Australia.
KNX National Group Australia members are part of a vibrant community of hundreds of organisations worldwide and can contribute to the future of the industry on topics ranging from smart buildings and cities to green buildings and home automation.
To be eligible to receive the discount, new members must successfully complete the Certified Basic KNX course (or have done so since January 2019). se (or have done so since January 2019).
Course participants will gain the understanding and skills to work on KNX-based equipment and become a basic level accredited KNX building automation technician. To attain certification, the participant must pass a local practical exam and an online theory exam, hosted by the KNX association in Brussels.
Upcoming training dates included an advanced course in Sydney next month and basic certification is available in Sydney during October and Perth in December.
