Heatcraft has once again announced its support for WorldSkills Australia (WSA) inking the major sponsorship deal for the 2019 round of the national refrigeration competition.

In a statement, Heatcraft said it is proud to sponsor the refrigeration category for both the 2019 round of regional competitions and 2020 WSA National Refrigeration Competition.

In 2019 Heatcraft celebrates 23 years of partnership with WorldSkills Australia.

Heatcraft acting vice president and general manager, Paul Campbell, said the company is proud to be the exclusive Gold Partner.

“This is a long established affiliation that aligns firmly with our core business and values, being a heritage of excellence in refrigeration and skill development,” he said.

“We are proud to continue to support and celebrate our industry’s future tradespeople through WorldSkills Australia.”

As the exclusive Gold Partner of the Refrigeration Category, Heatcraft will support young tradespeople as they test their skills and knowledge in local and regional competitions.

It provides tradespeople with an opportunity to win gold, silver and bronze medals and to potentially compete at a national and international level.

Heatcraft congratulates the current 2018 WorldSkills Australia Refrigeration and Air Conditioning National Champions Patrick Brennan, gold medalist (Tony Stephens, QLD) and Chris McNally, silver medalist (Freezetec, QLD).

Patrick will now compete for selection on the Skillaroos Team for air conditioning and refrigeration to go for gold at the 45th WorldSkills International Competition in Kazan, Russia.
