After dazzling the world with electric vehicles and his futuristic space ambitions, billionaire Elon Musk, is about to launch his very own Tesla inspired HVAC system.
Musk revealed the residential heating and cooling system was on its way in a tweet published on his Twitter account earlier this month.
It is not the first time Musk has spruiked his HVAC plans he has been talking about it for years.
But more details have been revealed including the use of HEPA filters in the residential system.
He said the home unit wouldn’t be very different from the system Tesla has already developed for their electric vehicles.
Tesla cars feature hospital grade filters to clean the air and this is likely to be extended to Tesla’s residential HVAC system.
The electric vehicle filter system is known as Bioweapon Defense Mode.
Last year Musk said Tesla’s HVAC system would be super efficient, quiet and would purify the air.
“We developed it for the car, but it can be scaled up for home use,” he said.
