Noppen Group HVAC apprentice, Ashton Saldaneri, became a fridgie after completing a work placement for school.
“Once I finished the work placement I was offered a job,” he says.
Ashton gets to do a bit of everything at Noppen as they do installation, service, maintenance, and design.
“I mostly enjoy fault finding and troubleshooting of A/C units as this is where I learn the most,” he says.
“This is also what I find the most interesting.”
When it comes to the most challenging aspects of the job, Ashton says it isn’t the technical side. “The toughest part of the job is managing the paperwork and different forms,” Ashton explains.
“The paperwork can be easily forgotten when doing a job and can very quickly build up and turn into something that is hard to manage.” What about your plans for the future? For now, Ashton says he will continue to work at Noppen.
“Unless something I cannot turn down or something important comes up. My intention is to stay at Noppen,” he says
