Noppen Group HVAC apprentice, Jordan Farrell, stumbled across the trade while searching for an apprenticeship to be an electrician.
This is when he came across ‘refrigeration and air conditioning’ and decided to investigate.
“The more I found out the more appealing it became,” Jordan says. “There are so many different aspects to the trade.”
It turned out to be the perfect fit. “I enjoy being hands on and working with all the different equipment this trade has to offer. But I must say there's nothing better than a nice and tidy install.”
The fourth-year apprentice is keen to continue learning and getting more qualifications.
He looks forward to working on large equipment and bigger systems.
“The toughest part of the job has been the psychometrics and remembering everyone's coffee orders,” Jordan jokes.
