Meet NRG Services (QLD) technician Justin Mann.
Justin didn’t plan on becoming a fridgie. In fact, he didn’t even know the job existed. But once he started working as a fridgie he realised it was a great job.
“It turned out to be a golden opportunity,” Justin said. “This job is really rewarding. The biggest challenge is knowing when to step back. It’s okay not to be the best, the quickest or the neatest. But it is great to achieve the highest quality outcome.”
Justin wants to develop his engineering knowledge and eventually seek out opportunities overseas.
“I can return home with plenty of new skills,” he said.
