Welcome to March, a month set to be a time of freedom and great joy.

I know this because last week the government approved singing and dancing.

We can once again dance and mingle after months of hibernation. I never thought I would live in a world where dancing was against the law, but then who could have predicted COVID-19?

The pandemic is finally easing – masks are no longer mandatory and everyone is gradually returning to the office. But best of all, no more QR codes.

This is the turning point, in no time at all we will be attending trade shows and conferences. Remember waiting at the airport for a delayed flight and sitting through long-winded seminar presentations? The good old days are returning.

The anticipation is certainly building. The ARBS Exhibition is only six months away, it’s time to start thinking about preparations.

To help readers prepare for a big year, this issue of CCN is a mixed affair with everything from  the latest in building automation to compressors, condensers and evaporators.

We’re part of such a broad and fast moving industry there isn’t a lot of downtime. Make the most of our new freedoms while we are still in the early part of the year and still  have the time, before it gets too hectic.

Enjoy a little jig while you can and dance like no one is watching.
