Schneider Electric has launched PrismaSeT switchboard as a complete system level architecture in Australia, further strengthening the EcoStruxure Power story.

The sheet metal for the next generation PrismaSeT is manufactured in Australia, ensuring excellent workmanship quality and helping to boost local manufacturing.

It means the global switchboard system has been adapted to meet unique Australian market needs.

A state-of-the-art modular design that not only helps optimise the switchboard footprint and ease scalability, PrismaSeT also achieves superior operational safety standards through comprehensive testing and validation, thereby complying with AS/NZS 61439.1&2 standard.

Additionally, PrismaSeT presents enhanced fire safety features within the switchboard using innovative PowerLogic HeatTag sensors for early detection of overheating wire connections or cables.

Reinforced doors and frame make it easier and safer to operate and maintain the LV switchboard, ensuring its durability in any environment.

The smarter and connected PrismaSeT marks a high standard for switchgear innovation designed to make installations dependable.

The active low-voltage switchboard is an industry-first product that now includes built-in cloud connectivity, providing instant access to intelligent alarming, energy usage analysis, trends, and preventative maintenance plans.

Schneider Electric power solutions vice president, Farokh Ghadially, said products like this are key to helping strengthen its partners' position in the realm of connected solutions, and drive industry innovation.

“The robust solution increases efficiency at every level and provides peace of mind for Schneider Electric’s switchboard builder partners, electrical contractors, facility managers, and end users,” he said.

PrismaSeT is available Australia-wide through a network of certified switchboard builders who are comprehensively trained and onboarded before being appointed by Schneider Electric.
