More than 100 participants attended the two day Danfoss Pacific Conference in Melbourne last month.

The conference was the first Danfoss event to be held in Australia for more than two years and was attended by members of the company’s drives and climate solutions sales organisation, partners and key customers.

The conference showcased how organisations can accelerate the pace of economic recovery and generate sustainable growth, by working towards a decarbonised future.

For Danfoss Pacific, the focus was on accelerating energy efficiency solutions within Commercial Buildings, Food, Water, Electrification, and Mining industries.

With over 100 attendees from key industries across Australia and New Zealand, the conference featured a wide range of break-out sessions, with topics including future-proofing commercial buildings, energy efficient food solutions, converting waste to energy as well as case studies featuring technologies to shift from diesel to hydrogen.

Danfoss Asia Pacific president, Niels Arbjerg, presented his  perspectives on how Danfoss has grown and expanded at a remarkable rate, while keeping environmental and social responsibility at the heart of the business.

“The Pacific Conference is a great opportunity to bring key industry professionals together to share expertise and create momentum around energy efficient technologies, digitalisation and electrification,” he said.

“We know that industry plays a vital role in leading the world’s economic recovery and solving the climate change problem.”

The company’s pacific general manager, Chris Page, invited business partners to work toward net zero.

It was a central theme for the event which also featured a session on naturals and large scale refrigeration.

There were panel discussions and a formal dinner for guests at the Crown Metropol in Melbourne.
