Save the date: ARBSQLD returns to Brisbane in 2027, with stand bookings now open
Queensland's air conditioning, refrigeration and building services industry is welcoming the return of ARBSQLD to the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre on 2-3 June 2027.
Exhibitor bookings are open now with over 90 brands already securing a spot. Visitors can put the dates in the calendar ahead of free registration opening closer to the event.
ARBSQLD brings together the people who design, supply, install and maintain the systems that heat, cool and ventilate buildings, from air conditioning and refrigeration through to controls, ductwork, plumbing and building automation.
The 2027 program will see a packed exhibition hall with all the latest gear; exhibitors will be able to run pre-booked 20-minute training sessions on their own stands and the popular Tech Talks program will return, alongside a leadership summit and site tours.
ARBS CEO, Amanda Searle, said workforce and skills shortages are consistently rated the number one challenge facing the industry nationally.
“Queensland has a huge construction pipeline and an estimated 40,000 workforce shortfall,” Searle said.
“Queensland has its own market, its own projects and its own contractors. ARBSQLD brings the supply chain to them.
"For most people who came in 2025, it was the first time they'd been able to attend an ARBS. Queensland is too important not to have a dedicated HVACR event.”
Exhibitors at ARBSQLD 2025 recorded 4,862 leads and connections, and 76 per cent of visitors were buyers or influenced the buying decision.
The ARBSQLD Leadership Summit will run on 1 and 2 June and will bring together senior leaders from across the HVACR and building services sector.
“The 1.5-day program will combine thought provoking keynote presentations, interactive roundtables, leadership discussions and valuable networking opportunities, creating a forum to explore the key challenges, opportunities and emerging trends shaping the future of the industry,” Searle said.
With momentum already building for 2027, industry professionals are encouraged to save the date, while those organisations looking to be part of Queensland’s dedicated HVACR and building services event can secure their stand now.
For 2027, stands start at $4,140 + GST for a 9m² shell scheme, which arrives built with walls, carpet, printed fascia, lights and power.
Shell scheme is $460 per square metre and space only is $410 per square metre. Stand sizes are capped at 36m², so the largest stand on the floor costs $16,560 + GST.
