Jenny Smith is the owner of About Airconditioning in Darwin.
Jenny is also an indoor air quality specialist and nationally accredited mould assessor. She has decades of experience and has spent her entire HVACR career as a pioneer.
In 1981 she was the first female apprentice in refrigeration and air conditioning appointed by the federal government. Before setting up her own business in 2005, Jenny worked at Simms Refrigeration and Logic Air which specialises in large chillers.
She also worked with glycol chillers and completed a Diploma in Education so she could run a program promoting trade opportunities for women. It allowed Smith to manage work placement experience for some 200 students.
Today Jenny is dedicated to indoor health and providing protection against toxic mould.
