As the number one connected air conditioning brand in the world*, it wasn’t too surprising to see such a huge selection of products at Haier’s ARBS stand.

As a global supplier, Haier, will be launching up to 260 new products across the world in 2018. On show at ARBS this year was Haier’s full range of smart air solution products focusing on personal comfort for the user and clean air solutions.

Haier also showcased its range of new R32 products for the Australian and New Zealand markets.

With self-cleaning evaporators, motion sensors and wi-fi this product has been designed with both the consumer and installer in mind.

Haier’s easy installation system is sure to be a hit with the trade. These products will be more energy efficient than Haier’s current R410A line up. The full range, 2.6 kilowatt, 3.5kW, 5.3kW and 7.1kW, will be available in time for the 2018 summer season.

Haier also continued its growth in the commercial space with the introduction of a full line up of VRF products already available in Australia. These products range from 12.5kW mini VRF to 56kW to discharge products that may be combined to give up to 168kW. These larger units are ideal for commercial situations with 110 metre lift.

Haier, who are the number one brand of major appliances and connected air conditioning in the world*, has worked to develop a range of domestic and commercial air conditioning products designed for Australian conditions.

Since launching its range of Hi Wall splits, Haier has grown its offering to over 260 products in Australia including Hi walls, Super Match Multi units, Smart Power one on one units and now VRF and chiller products.

Haier AC sales manager, Tony Bartlett, said the brand has worked to design and manufacture air conditioners that are suited to modern Australian homes and the climate. Haier air conditioners undergo rigorous research and development processes including temperature testing ranging from -25 degrees Celsius to 50°C in harsh environmental conditions.

“We are continuing our launch into Australia with products that are developed and tested for this market and backed by our 24/7 consumer support line and an outstanding customer service and support offering,” Bartlett said.

The Haier Global team showed its commitment to the Australian market at ARBS with a large team of Haier global management attending the show including Mr. Cao Chunhua global general manager of the air conditioning business unit and Mr. Wang Youning, vice general manager of air conditioning globally.

Other products due for release shortly are the range of modular chillers, on display was Haier’s 65kW cooling capacity air cooled unit. Providing excellent output on a small footprint, these chillers are a perfect solution for the commercial market.

Haier recently upgraded its robotics factory giving Haier AC Australia availability to a wider range of products. Bartlett emphasised the support Haier intends to maintain for resellers and installers.

“Haier Air Conditioning is focused on the trade channel and recently hired three additional commercially focused business development managers to continue to drive our growth into the commercial air conditioning channel.”
