Facilities Management (City) has entered a 10-year agreement with Coles Group (Coles), building on a strong and successful 17-year partnership.
Under the agreement, City will continue to drive operational excellence throughout the Coles national retail and supply chain network.
City will deliver integrated end-to-end facilities management, engineering services, and technical procurement to Coles Supermarkets, Distribution Centres, and Liquorland stores across Australia through City’s proven self-delivery led model.
The services span building-related maintenance including refrigeration and air conditioning, electrical works, building works, plumbing, and energy optimisation.
The new agreement marks a renewed era of collaboration, with a strong focus on advancing the retail experience for customers and store team members through investment in innovative technologies, strategic asset management, and a customer-first approach.
This marks a significant milestone in a partnership that began in September 2009 and has seen Coles and City work closely together in adapting to the evolving needs of Australia’s retail sector and elevating standards for retail environments nationwide.
City director, FM operations & engineering, Bill Aggelis, said the long-standing relationship with Coles is built on mutual trust.
"Over the past 17 years, our collaboration has evolved alongside the changing needs of Australia’s retail sector, supporting Coles through times of expansion and transformation," he said.
Coles head of engineering, maintenance and facilities, Stephen Vella, said the partnership will continue to focus on their shared dedication to best-in-class facilities management, including new investments in technology and store support.
Founded in 1985 in Glasgow, Scotland, City is one of the world’s largest privately owned facilities management companies. City launched in Australia in 2009.
