ABB has appointed IPD as its preferred distributor in Australia for low voltage power distribution and control products to the electrical wholesale market.
The partnership will officially commence September 1, 2020.
IPD has more than 60 years of experience servicing wholesalers, contractors, switchboard manufacturers, OEMs and utility customers in Australia.
ABB’s wholesaler customers will benefit from IPDs large-scale distribution network, which provides greater availability and accessibility to the products customers need, when they need them.
The agreement also specifies that IPD will support ABB with customised distribution boards using ABB components.
ABB will continue to support customers and facilitate their needs through IPD to provide the boards to customer requirements, the company said in a statement.
IPD CEO, Michael Sainsbury, said ABB is a world leading manufacturer of products and solutions for the electrical market.
