Following the merger of Eltek Australia and Delta Electronics (Australia) on 1 April, Delta Electronics (Australia) last week opened its new Australia/Pacific headquarters in Sydney.

Delta Electronics is the world’s largest power supply manufacturer with core expertise in a vast array of power electronics designs with extensive global manufacturing and operations. Eltek is a global leader in power systems with more than 40 years’ experience and has been a Delta Group brand since 2015.

The new headquarters, which are located at St Leonard’s Corporate Park, were officially opened by Federal Member for North Sydney, Trent Zimmerman and Australia country manager for Delta, David Leal.

Zimmerman said the business utilises skills for the future economy such as energy infrastructure.

“As we head towards a low emissions future, these are the technologies that will support Australia’s future and environmental success,” he said.

Leal said the company expects to see considerable growth in the region in coming years and Delta is well positioned to contribute to this success.

“The new unified Delta Electronics (Australia) leverages global innovation and local expertise to enable a greener and smarter future for customers and communities across Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands,” Leal said.

Guests were also invited to Q&A sessions with the heads of Delta’s renewable energy, industrial automation, mission critical infrastructure and electric vehicle charging businesses.
