Dover Food Retail, a leading manufacturer of commercial and industrial refrigeration systems and refrigerated display cases, will invest over $US20 million to expand its Virginia operations.
The company will relocate its Anthony brand manufacturing from Sylmar, CA, to its Virginia campus, which is projected to create more than 300 new jobs over the next year.
The investment will expand on its current production with skilled workers manufacturing a wide range of commercial glass refrigerators and freezer doors and frames, utilising cutting-edge technology to meet the demanding specifications of food retail customers across North America and worldwide.
Dover Food Retail president, Paul Sindoni, said this latest round of investments will add all-new, state-of-the-art equipment to their factories, expand research and development laboratories, create a Dover Food Retail parts hub, and establish a new distribution centre of excellence.
“This investment provides a strong foundation of Dover Food Retail's US-based manufacturing capabilities, building on our commitment to delivering exceptional products to our customers and maintaining our position as the innovation leaders in the industry,” he said.
Dover Food Retail brands include Anthony, Hillphoenix, Advansor, and The AMS Group.
