Safe Monitoring Group (SMG), a portfolio company of Alder and a leading global provider of safety instrumentation and monitoring solutions, has acquired LeakLogics.
SMG said the deal marks a new chapter for both companies. LeakLogics is a New York-based company and is a specialised provider of refrigerant leak detection services and monitoring solutions.
This acquisition marks the second US-based company to join the SMG portfolio and the sixteenth company overall added to the Group, further strengthening SMG's presence in the Americas and expanding its capabilities in the rapidly growing refrigerant leak detection and compliance services market.
LeakLogics delivers proven leak detection programs that combine structured audits, commissioning and leak validation, reporting and documentation, and equipment sales and consultation.
The company's practical, data-driven approach helps facilities minimise refrigerant loss, improve system performance, and maintain compliance with evolving regulatory requirements.
SMG Americas president, Kevin McKeigue, said with the addition of LeakLogics, SMG has the broadest refrigerant leak detection capability in the industry - from world-class fixed monitoring hardware to expert field services - and the global platform to scale.
“SMG is home to two of the world's most recognised refrigerant leak detection brands - SAMON and CPC UK - whose market-leading fixed monitoring systems are deployed across commercial refrigeration and HVACR applications worldwide,” he said.
LeakLogics founder, Nick Stojkovski, said the deal marks a new chapter for the company.
“This includes access to SMG’s global manufacturing platform, distribution network, and with a shared commitment to safety innovation, we are well-positioned to expand our service offerings, reach new markets, and continue building the most trusted refrigerant leak detection programs in the industry,” he said.
