The Safe Monitoring Group (SMG) has completed its acquisition of Duran Electronica SL.
Gas detection company, Duran Electronica, has a strong presence in construction, water treatment plants, laboratories and tunnels.
It also supplies equipment for fire detection, meteorological sensors and EN54 public address.
As part of SMG, Duran will collaborate in R&D, marketing, procurement, sales and service.
Customers of both companies will have a wider range of products and services to support their needs in current and new applications.
Olga Rodriguez de Trio and Victor Andrés, both owners and CEO’s of Duran, said they look forward to the expansion of Duran and other companies that are part of the SMG group.
Alexander Larsson, CEO of SMG, said Duran operates in more than 50 countries.
