The search is on for Australia’s most dedicated contractors to participate in the HVACR Leadership Awards which will be launched tomorrow.
The HVACR Leadership Awards provides an opportunity for Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Air-Conditioners Australia, Pty. Ltd. (MHIAA) to thank contractors for their dedication.
As the official sponsor of the Contractor of the Year Award, MHIAA can support the very people that bring the manufacturers products and service to the Australian market.
MHIAA sales and planning general manager, Adrian Brown, said it is important to recognise a high standard of workmanship.
“Contractors are particularly important to the Australian economy right now,” Brown said.
“Governments at all levels are supporting new building projects, apprenticeships and training to generate more jobs.
“This has helped raise the profile of contractors and recognises the vital role they play in maintaining a strong and healthy workforce.”
Brown said many of the award nominees represent the next generation of HVAC experts.
Asked about the qualities that make a great contractor, Brown said that for MHIAA, it is all about dedication and care.
“A good contractor is dedicated to their work, their team and the customer, they take care in all aspects of the work they produce,” he said.
“We wish all of the nominees the best of luck and look forward to meeting them at the awards ceremony later this year,” Brown said.
