The AG Coombs Group has announced the appointment of Clive Weeks as its non executive chair.
Weeks has extensive industry experience including 36 years at GHD culminating as
chair, having previously been the CEO.
After a period with local councils and lecturing at Swinburne College, Weeks joined GHD (formerly Gutteridge Haskins and Davey) Consulting Engineers in 1972.
Over the next 36 years he held a variety of positions, including CEO in 2002 and executive chairman in 2003, a position he held until he stepped down from the GHD Board in November 2008.
He has extensive experience with large infrastructure projects, including the Great Southern Stand at the MCG, the Melbourne City Link, Eastlink and Peninsula Link and numerous projects for Melbourne Water and other infrastructure authorities/ owners.

He was appointed as an Officer of the Order of Australia (AO) in 2013 in recognition for his distinguished service to engineering through leadership roles in the development of key civil works projects, and through contributions to professional and educational organisations.
He is a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers Australia, the Institute of Company Directors and the Australian Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering.
He is a current Member of The Regional Rail Link Authority Board, Monash Engineering Foundation Board, and Rotary Club of Melbourne Board where, in regards to the latter, he is also the 2012/2013 President.
He was Monash Civil Engineering Alumnus of the year in 2004 and recipient of the Sir John Monash Medal for services to the Monash Engineering Faculty in 2011
