After six years at the helm of Air Change, company CEO Steve Atherton has resigned.
Describing it as a "difficult decision" Atherton resigned to pursue another position in a diffferent industry.
Atherton has proven to be an impressive leader, taking charge of Air Change during a period of great change. In the last six years the company has tripled in size and its head office and manufacturing facilities had to move to a bigger facility in Milperra, NSW.
The Air Change Group congratulated Atherton on his new move wishing him the best of luck in his future endeavours.
"It is a testament to Atherton and the many Air Change employees that while many Australian manufacturers have been struggling through the GFC, Air Change has experienced exponential growth," the company said in a statement.
Atherton was also in charge of Air Change subsidiaries Fan Coil Sales and Summit Matsu Chillers.
As a result of Atherton leaving, Air Change national sales manager Shane Carmichael has been appointed general manager.
"As Air Change commences this new chapter, we look forward to further growth domestically and overseas while remaining true to the Air Change mission; to work closely with the industry to develop innovative HVAC solutions to improve indoor air quality, reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions," Carmichael said.
