Hosted by the Air Conditioning and Mechanical Contractors’ Association (AMCA), this year's Construction Innovation Forum will be held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre from August 6-7, 2015.

Keynote presentations will be delivered by speakers from across the globe including Princeton University associate director of construction management, William Bausmith and New York City director of virtual design and construction, Safiy Abdur-Rahman.

AMCA executive director, Sumit Oberoi, said this year's forum brings together thought leaders and practitioners from around the world to provide insight into how leading firms are utilising technology to deliver innovative best practice solutions in the building and construction industry.

Oberoi said a special presentation will be delivered by the director of technology integration at the Hill Group in the US, David Pikey as well as the global product specialist of enterprise asset management at Trimble Real Estate and Workplace Solutions in the UK, Oliver Ridgwell.

He said the 2015 forum will also feature an 80 minute streamed workshop on each day, allowing delegates to choose between practical content that best suits their own job role, experience and educational needs.

The streams cover: Design and Construct using BIM-MEPAUS – A2K Technologies; Fabrication Workflows - Autodesk;  Project Management for BIM – ViewPoint Construction Software; BIM-to-Field – BuildingPoint (A Trimble Company).

As well as access to a select group of innovative trade exhibitors servicing the building and construction industry, delegates will have plenty of networking and professional development opportunities at the event.
