More than 70 delegrates attended Fujitsu General's 18th national conference at the Hunter Valley in NSW.

The company's deputy general manager, Philip Perham, told delegates at the three day event that the “sleeping giant has woken.” Perham delivered the warning pointing out that Fujitsu General is determined to succeed.

He said it is the manufacturer's fifth consecutive year of growth. “Fujitsu is determined to be successful and is committed to investing where necessary to achieve this success; we will deliver and meet our customer's needs,” Perham said.

In addition to business sessions there were special presentations by inspirational guests including Essendon Football Club general manager, Neil Craig and the head coach for the South Sydney Rabbitohs, Michael Maguire, who led the team to victory in 2014.

They both shared insights on what makes a team 'Fit 4 Business', which was the theme for this year's conference.

The national conference is also an opportunity to recognise outstanding employee performances with awards presented to business development managers Marcus Shepes (Vic), David Hurry (QLD), and John McLeod (Vic).

The annual Company Distinction Award was presented to South Australian service supervisor, Luke Meyers, and Victorian state manager, David Foley,  who was the recipient of the highly valued Bill Gillett Memorial Award for the second year running.
