Several buyers are interested in purchasing AHT Cooling, an Australian refrigeration manufacturing company operated by Quadriga Capital.
According to a report that appeared overnight on the International Venture Capital Post web site, several bidders are interested in the company including Bridgepoint and EQT.
The two private equity firms are among those to have succeeded and moved to the second round of the bidding, along with Ontario Teachers.
Trade buyers and private equity firms IK Investment Partners and TPG have also expressed interest in the deal, according to the bankers.
CCN Online understands that Quadriga is selling AHT Cooling for $US659.67 million.
According to Reuters LPC, Quadriga acquired AHT Cooling in 2007 with $US296.5 million worth of debt.
Quadriga Capital has hired advisers Macquarie and William Blair for the deal.
