Leading projects firm, Sinclair Knight Merz (SKM) has strengthened its Climate Change and Energy Efficiency team in Australia and New Zealand after the relocation from the UK of leading industry specialist, Bob Robinson.

A qualified engineer with over 30 years’ experience, Bob joined SKM’s Climate Change and Renewables team in the UK in 2006 and has a track record of success in the delivery of climate change, carbon management and energy efficiency projects for industrial, commercial and retail clients globally.

SKM’s Climate Change and Resource Efficiency Service Line Leader, Keith Webster said that in recent years, Bob has managed and delivered numerous energy management, carbon management and process improvement projects.

“In particular, Bob has developed and delivered significant energy efficiency and climate change business across UK, Europe, Canada and USA and will be bringing this experience to the Australia and New Zealand markets,” Webster said.

“These projects have involved the design, piloting and implementation of programmes for energy and utilities demand side management with a number of utility distributors and semi-governmental organisations.

“These programs have been specifically designed to engage everyone from managers to operators and to achieve sustained and significant long term financial, energy utility and carbon savings.

“Bob will be a fantastic addition to the existing SKM team in the Asia Pacific, and we are looking forward to him enhancing and developing the service we provide to our clients in this region."
