The CCN Live Conference was a huge success with a solid lineup of impressive speakers, plenty of interactive debate and audience participation.
CCN would like to formally thank everyone that participated in yesterday's event, especially sponsors and speakers, for making it such a great success.
Detailed coverage of the event will appear in a special CCN Live edition of Climate Control News magazine in October.
Until then there will be some online coverage in coming weeks so stay tuned.
A number of interesting themes emerged throughout the day with participants debating energy efficiency, climate change, the need for more innovation and automation to ignite local manufacturing, upskilling of the workforce and more relevant tertiary and university courses for the HVAC&R industry.
There was even lively discussion about getting rid of the HVAC&R acronym and utilising the term "climate control industry" to try and make the sector more cohesive and attractive as a profession.
The regulatory environment was also discussed as well as the current economic climate and the need to improve Australia's productivity.
This is just the tip of the iceberg and a full roundup of all of the CCN Live debates will be published soon.
From the Editor's desk, thanks again for making it such a memorable day.
