IMI Hydronic Engineering now has its very own training centre based in Melbourne.
The centre officially opened in June and training sessions are free for qualified individuals within the HVAC industry – specifically those working in the design, specification, purchase, installation, commissioning or service of commercial hydronic systems.
The company's regional sales manager, Peter Frew, said the training centre boasts a range of new products.
“We can simulate various HVAC scenarios found in most buildings,” he said.
“It is extremely effective and important to have practical experience whereby people face unexpected difficulties which they have to circumvent.
“This is why, our training centre is equipped with realistic models of hydronic circuits incorporating variable speed pumps and valves of different types.”
The centre is part of the company’s global chain of training centres, specifically designed to provide professionals working in the HVAC sector with training on how to optimize hydronic systems.
Exclusively developed for installers, consultants and contractors working in this sector, IMI Hydronic Engineering’s training sessions will look to educate visitors on how hydronic systems can be successfully designed, installed and balanced to ensure the ultimate in energy-efficient and achieve comfortable indoor climates.
“We hope to provide visitors with hands-on experience in the fields of pressurization and water quality, balancing and control as well as thermostatic control,” Frew said.
