Fujitsu General Australia has appointed Toru Ishizuka to the role of managing director.
Former managing director, Kenji Shimizu, has moved to Moscow to lead Fujitsu General’s expansion into Russia.
“I have greatly enjoyed my time here in Australia,” Shimizu said.
“I’d like to thank our customers for their support over the past two years and wish them every success in the future”.
Prior to relocating to the company's Australian headquarters in Eastern Creek, Sydney, Ishizuka was at Fujitsu's head office in Japan.
Ishizuka's position in Japan was vice-general manager of international sales and marketing.
He has extensive experience in the banking and finance industry for a number of global organisations.
“I am excited to be joining Fujitsu General Australia,” Ishizuka said.
“Although it is a challenging time for the industry, Fujitsu is introducing new technologies and products to stimulate interest within the commercial and residential sectors.
“I look forward to working with the well established Australian team and meeting our new and long term customers over the coming months.
